Before you exchange
A useful reference. Your actual quote may differ.
01
A rate that barely moves
EUR is the euro; DKK is the Danish krone. Denmark is in the EU but keeps its own currency, and its central bank holds the krone close to a fixed central rate against the euro. That is why EUR/DKK changes very little from day to day.
02
Cards almost everywhere
Card and mobile payments are the norm in Denmark, from cafés to museums. Check whether your card charges a foreign transaction fee, and choose to pay in kroner when a terminal offers euros.
03
Keep a reference in your pocket
In the Android app, save the pairs you use, compare several currencies and enter your own exchange rate. Download rates before you leave to keep a reference available offline.

Each page has its own converter and a table of common amounts.
Denmark takes part in the EU exchange rate mechanism ERM II, which keeps the krone within a narrow band around a central rate against the euro. The rate still moves slightly, so the page shows the latest available data.
Can I convert Danish kroner to euros?
Yes. Tap the swap button. The converter and the table of common amounts switch to DKK to EUR.
How up to date is the conversion?
The timestamp below the result tells you when the rate data was updated, in your local time. The page requests the latest available data when opened and refreshes while in use. It does not stream market prices. If an update fails, it can keep using data less than 24 hours old with a visible notice. Otherwise, it shows an unavailable state.
Will I receive exactly this amount when exchanging money?
Not necessarily. This is an indicative conversion. Your provider may use a different exchange rate and apply fees. Check the final quote with your bank or exchange office before exchanging.
