Before you exchange
EUR is the euro; USD is the US dollar. EUR/USD is the most traded currency pair in the world, and prices in the two are often compared side by side. Multiply euros by the rate above, or swap to convert dollars into euros.
In most US states, the price on the shelf does not include sales tax; it is added at the till. Add it before converting, so you compare the full price with what you would pay at home.
